SUPPORT: HENRY MICHAEL
COMPÈRE: JAMES COOK

GEORGE ZACH is Greek and moved to Britain at 18 to study Biochemistry lured by the idea of living in the country of Hugh Grant, Mr Bean and Lady Diana; Due to the family budget however, instead of living it large in Notting Hill, he ended up in Newcastle Upon-Tyne.

When he was done with university, George decided lab life wasn’t for him, so whilst playing poker for a living he did his first comedy spot in 2009 in a room above a pub on St Patrick’s Day.

Since that day he has gone on to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 5 times and in 2015 he appeared at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

George has firmly established himself in the UK and Australian comedy circuits, has performed in various countries such as Spain, The Netherlands, Greece, Germany and Hong Kong and has supported Chris McCausland, Luisa Omielan and Sophie Willan on their UK tours.

His broadcast work includes appearing on Dave Channel’s ‘The Comedy Guide To Life’, BBC One’s This Week, The One Show and he has acted in Sky’s Summer Shorts.

CHRISTIAN REILLY is a musical comedian. Like a rock star, his career has taken him around the world not once, but three times; his job has taken him down country roads to places such as the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Britain where he has received accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits.

Critics have compared Christian to Bill Bailey or Rich Hall, with his charmingly confident performances accompanied by hilarious songs and clever wit. Regardless of the venue, Christian flies on stage like he is playing to sold-out arena crowds, filled with energy and ready to make the crowd laugh.

Appearing on BBC radio and TV in 2015, BBC Radio 4 followed Christian on the road to the Edinburgh Fringe for ‘Lives In a Landscape’. And in 2016, Christian took his comedy to Australia as part of Perth’s Fringeworld festival. Last year saw him return to the Edinburgh Festival for the seventh consecutive year with a new show.

Christian uses his dynamic guitar and vocal skills to target histrionic rock bands, musical theatre, and morose indie musicians. Mocking anything musical, he may take your favourite songs, change the lyrics and make you love his version more. If you’re a lover of music and comedy, this is for you.

“If you’re a fan of Bill Bailey or Rich Hall, you’re probably a Christian Reilly fan already”
