In 2007, after a switch to stand-up, he won the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Final. In 2013 his solo show ‘I DON’T KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT MY KIDS’ was selected as one of the Top 10 Comedy Shows at the Edinburgh Fringe by Amused Moose. He has also written for Stand Up For The Week (Ch4) and Stand Up For Sports Relief (BBC1), directed an Edinburgh Best Newcomer nominated show. He grew up in Hertfordshire, and sometimes sounds Scandinavian.

Luke has appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News, been nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Festival Perrier Award, written for comedians on Mock The Week and Live at the Apollo, and regularly performs at the best comedy clubs across the UK.

Lee won Britain’s Got Talent in 2018 and the BBC New Comedy Award in 2014. Lee’s other credits include Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions (ITV), America’s Got Talent: The Champions (NBC), Live At The Apollo(BBC Two), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV), I Just Called To Say… (Sky Arts), Comedians Giving Lectures (Dave) and The Now Show (BBC Radio 4). Lee has co-written two series of Ability (BBC Radio 4) with Katherine Jakeways which he also stars in.

Lee has toured the UK, selling out venues up and down the country, with his show I’m Only In It For The Parking. He’s also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Latitude, Rewind Festival, Galway Comedy Festival, Brighton Fringe, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival, Nottingham Comedy Festival and Liverpool Comedy Festival. Lee was named Ent24’s Hardest Working Comedian of the Year in 2019.

Lee has told jokes/given motivational speeches for a range of charities and organisations including Sainsbury’s, Barclays and The Royal College of Nurses. He is also an ambassador for Scope as well as being a patron of Smile For Life, Find A Voice, Communication Matters and The Sequal Trust.
